"Listas"

In Celebration of Women History Month, I was commissioned by Listos California, through LaMont Digital, to create a piece to celebrate all women. The brief was to create a piece  acknowledging Women's History Month and honoring the role of California women who lead their communities through disasters and through recovery.

Here are some of the sketches, process and details of the final illustration.
The paragraph below is from Listos California IG post:

We celebrate the women who have always been the first line of care - in the classroom, in the boardroom, in the fields, on the block and at home.

The woman who remembered to refill the emergency kit. Who texted the family before the storm hit. Who knocked on the neighbor's door just to check in. Who built a whole community out of showing up, again and again.

Thanks to her, we are ready. We are Listas.
I like to use color pencils and pastels in procreate to keep a textured unfinished feeling. Below there are some details of the main illustration.
Besides the illustration, I was asked to create a logo and additional assets to use throughout the campaign on social.
Below are some of the examples of how the agency used some of the elements to create additional assets and animations for Listas Campaign.
Thanks for watching!
